The Bearer of Gifts

I listened to a radio disc jockey chastise her male co-host for not buying his wife a Mother's Day gift. He stated that he assured his sons offered a gift but that his wife wasn't his mother, so he hadn't bought her a present. The female disc jockey (and callers) admonished his decision.

I agree with him.

Women get this wrong. A man doesn't want to treat his wife like a mother. He wants his woman to be his lover. Why would a woman want her lover to treat her any differently?

A woman should want her man to honor her entire heart, soul, mind, and body - not just the biology below her waist. A mother is a verb. A woman is a noun. Why do women consistently limit themselves?
